The biography of Madurai Mani Iyer is written by the site developer. It is based on the following materials :-

1.      Biography of Madurai Mani Iyer written in Tamil by Shri 'Neelam' in his book 'Sangeetha Navamanigal published' in the year 1955.

2.      Short Biography of Madurai Mani Iyer read from 'The Hindu' dated 09/06/1968.

3.      Madurai Mani Iyer's Radio Interview of 1962.

4.      Biography narrated by Late Shri.V.Ananthanarayana Iyer, ex-Southern Railway, Goldenrock, Trichy,  a close associate of Madurai Mani Iyer since 1930.

The photographs of Madurai Mani Iyer are obtained from personal collections of various Rasikas. Some of the thumbnail pictures are downloaded from popular carnatic music sites.
